What stays with you after the iN-Clue Experience

18 February 2026
The other day I shared a post and talked about the iN-Clue experience and how different it was to anything else out there.
Now what makes it so different…I brainstormed a bit with Alan to describe it as best as possible.
What stays with you after the iN-Clue Experience
Seeing each other differently
Through a guided process, you discover perspectives and dimensions of colleagues that rarely surface in daily work. You begin to see how differences can become collective strength.
Experience before concept
No long lectures. No imposed models.
A carefully designed experience invites reflection on how you interact, listen, and create space for others.
Safety before performance
A shift happens. Conversations become more genuine, silence more comfortable, and differences something to explore — not defend against. You realise sustainable performance starts with relational safety.
Participants don’t leave with rules.
They leave with shared awareness and shared responsibility.
The experience is practical, human, and refreshingly jargon-free.

Use donuts to celebrate the wins. 🍩
16 February 2026
For decades, I’ve led teams and spoken about the importance of listening, strong communication, and diversity & inclusion — in team meetings, offsites, town halls, and countless 1:1s.
I shared strong messages.
People nodded.
They agreed.
I used powerful quotes, solid theories, and visuals that spoke louder than words. Some of it landed. Some ideas stayed. Some behaviours may even have changed. The message made sense.
Then I experienced iN-Clue — and realised what had been missing all along:
Psychological safety.
Not “we’re a family.”
Not donuts and pizza.
Not nice words on slides.
Real psychological safety — the kind you feel. The kind that allows people to speak honestly, disagree respectfully, admit uncertainty, and show up as themselves without fear.
Because communication doesn’t matter if people don’t feel safe enough to use it.
Listening is impossible if people don’t speak their minds.
Diversity doesn’t work if voices stay silent.
Inclusion cannot exist without trust.
That’s the difference between talking about it… and experiencing it.
Before looking for solutions, we must create the conditions where everyone can truly exist within the group. Because the quality of a team depends not only on skills — but on how safe people feel to fully show up.
And once you feel it, you can’t unsee what teams are capable of.
Use donuts to celebrate the wins. 🍩

AI is moving fast, but our ability to learn, question, and make mistakes safely must move faster.
9 February 2026
Because without psychological safety, even the smartest technology will never reach its true potential.
Like many of us, I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about AI lately. The more I learn, the more I realise just how big and how transformative it really is.
I often ask myself what impact it will have on my life, both personally and professionally.
Am I excited about AI? Absolutely.
Am I worried or even a little scared? Also yes.
But one insight stands out above all in my professional world: the need for Safe Space has never been greater.
We’re exploring AI, learning fast, experimenting, discussing, testing, questioning and yes, we will make mistakes along the way. That can feel uncomfortable, even intimidating. Without a safe space to navigate this journey, progress won’t happen.
In a true Safe Space, people can ask questions without judgment, make mistakes without feeling incapable, and speak openly without fear of consequences. It creates the psychological foundation required for responsible AI adoption, where curiosity replaces fear, and dialogue replaces silence.
That human foundation matters, perhaps now more than ever.
Creating Safe Space won’t be taken over by AI anytime soon. If anything, we must ensure AI itself doesn’t unintentionally create unsafe environments. In fact, as AI accelerates, our human qualities: empathy, collaboration, and creativity become even more critical.
This is exactly where the iN-Clue journey focuses: helping individuals and organisations create environments where innovation and psychological safety grow together.
So no — the human work is far from over. If anything, it has just become more important.

“Most workshops don’t change behaviour. This one does.”
22 January 2026
That’s usually where the questions start.
And yes — I was sceptical too.
After more than 20 years managing teams, and attending and facilitating countless trainings, most workshops felt the same: someone at the front, a polished story, carefully designed questions. A lot of talking to people, not with them.
Take a moment and think back to the workshops you’ve attended.
Which ones do you still remember?
Chances are, it wasn’t the frameworks or slides — it was the personal stories that stayed with you.
iN-Clue is different.
It’s built on stories — because stories are how we truly learn — but the stories don’t come from slides or facilitators. They come from the people around the table. The team becomes the centre of the experience.
In most teams, the knowledge is already there. Not everyone is a natural storyteller, which is why iN-Clue uses cards to help people find the right words and tone. The facilitator creates a safe space, guides the process, and ensures learning emerges.
The stories are personal, which is why they connect.
No debate. No polarisation. Just curiosity and listening. When you hear something from your peers, it lands differently. This isn’t about them. It’s about us.
The iN-Clue journey isn’t a one-off workshop. It’s an experience that continues long after the session ends — planting seeds of curiosity and connection.

Inclusion begins with awareness: of ourselves first, and then of others
20 January 2026
During my therapy session today, I reflected on my rebellious phase as a teenager. At the time, I knew I was pushing back against something, but I couldn’t clearly articulate what it was. With hindsight, it became clear that my resistance stemmed from being boxed into a single narrative, of being perceived as one-dimensional.
What frustrated me most was not being seen in my full complexity. I knew there was more beneath the surface, more perspectives, capabilities, and dimensions that went unrecognized.
Over time, I accepted that others may perceive us in certain ways, often based on context, roles, or their own frames of reference. More importantly, I came to recognize and accept my own layers. Not everyone will see them, acknowledge them, or even be open to them, that’s okay. There is a true strength in self-awareness. Knowing who we are does not require constant external validation.
This reflection made me think of the iN-Clue journey. A central element of the workshop is creating space to identify our own layers while also learning to see others beyond the surface, at a depth and pace each individual chooses to share. It’s a reminder that inclusion begins with awareness: of ourselves first, and then of others.
That was my reflection of the day.

“Connection isn’t about saying more—it’s about speaking differently.”
19 January 2026
“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” said Nelson Mandela
This quote has stayed with me, especially as it reflects what I’ve learned through the IN-Clue journey, it is one of the main takeaways from an iN-Clue journey.
When we speak to someone’s heart—not just their head—we create connection. People feel seen, valued, and respected. That emotional bond is at the core of meaningful leadership and meaningful relationships.
Learning how to do this takes empathy, awareness, and intention. It’s about understanding perspectives different from our own and choosing language that builds trust rather than barriers.
That’s exactly what we focus on in our IN-Clue workshops: practical skills that help turn understanding into impact, and conversations into connections.
By understanding perspectives different from our own and choosing language that builds trust, we open doors and build bridges—creating environments where inclusion isn’t just talked about, but felt.

How does it work
12 January 2026
It’s not just a card game.
It’s a game changer. ♠️✨
The iN-Clue Journey is an interactive experience that opens up real conversations, without being intrusive or polarising.
Through simple but powerful activities using beautifully designed cards, every team member gets involved. People practice speaking up, listening deeply and showing vulnerability, not as a theory, but as something that’s actually felt.
This is psychological safety in action, not just a buzzword.
We kick things off with a 1-hour interactive session where teams connect, reflect and start building trust together.
Then come 6 short follow-up moments over the next months to keep the conversation alive and create real accountability.
Along the way, a very short, individual and anonymous survey helps measure how safe people feel — at the start, during and at the end of the journey.
In a safe, structured and insightful way, teams explore what makes them unique and what they have in common.
It’s not a one-off workshop.
It’s a sustainable journey with lasting impact.
Curious to know how this could work for your team? Let’s talk.

Psychological safe space
9 January 2026
Let’s talk about safety.
Not compliance. Real safety.
Physical safety or psychological safety.
Is there really a difference?
For physical safety, we know what to do.
Helmets. Harness. We protect the body.
But how do we protect our being?
Our dignity, our voice, our sense of belonging?
That takes trust, presence, and connection.
We’re great at protecting bodies.
Less intentional about protecting people.
That’s where iN-Clue comes in.
iN-Clue creates psychological safety not through instructions or policies, but through experience.
Because trust isn’t built on paper—it’s built in connection.
When people feel safe to be themselves, ideas flow, collaboration improves, and mistakes become learning.
Google’s Project Aristotle showed it:
psychological safety is the #1 driver of team performance.
Helmets won’t help with that.
But iN-Clue will.
There’s a lot more to say—but this is a good start.
Let’s have a chat.

"You’re very good at connecting with people"
6 January 2026
I heard this a lot in my career. And while it was meant as a compliment, I never quite knew what to do with it.
Because in every goal-setting conversation, every leadership offsite, every performance review, the focus was the same: collaboration, engagement, efficiency.
And I consistently delivered on those.
What I did learn was this: wherever real connection existed, collaboration felt easier.
Work moved faster. People showed up differently.
When real connection is present, something remarkable happens:
👉 collaboration becomes easier
👉 efficiency starts to flow
Looking back, connection was always the thing doing the heavy lifting.
In most workplaces, we expect collaboration and efficiency. We demand them, measure them, and review them.
But we often overlook the one thing that makes both possible: human connection.
When people feel seen beyond their role or title, they stop protecting themselves and start creating together.
That realisation changed my path.
Today, I run iN-Clue workshops, where I help teams reconnect as humans—not through theory or therapy, but through shared experiences that create honesty, humour, and trust. I help teams rediscover each other beyond roles, titles, and functions.
The kind of collaboration that actually sticks.
If you want your team to work better because they connect better, let’s talk.

✨ Exciting news ✨
In 2026, I’m bringing the iN-Clue journey to Ireland 🇮🇪
iN-Clue helps organisations create a real safe space for their teams — one where people feel seen, valued, and able to truly thrive. It’s a practical, measurable tool designed to prioritise psychological safety and improve team efficiency. Because both matter.
Over my 20+ years as a people manager, one thing has always been clear to me:
people do their best work when they feel psychologically safe. When people feel understood, emotional friction and tension drop. Collaboration improves. Energy shifts.
We’re all human. We need space for empathy, reflection, and honest conversation — especially at work.
The iN-Clue journey helps organisations build exactly that (and more).
Curious? 👀
